BEYOND INCREDIBLE COFFEE
We are a small coffee roasting company located in Mount Vernon Ohio, and established in October of 2023.
SERVE WITH SINCERITY
The idea for the roasting company began with the desire to provide fresh coffee for our café located in Mount Vernon, then blossomed into the vision to start a company that went beyond just providing an incredible cup of coffee to our customers.
WHY THE NAME IMPACT COFFEE COMPANY
After a conversation with a friend and staff member about the purpose of starting this company (and what we should call it), Impact Coffee Company was born, from the idea that when we impact our local community we impact the world.
A GREATER VISION
It was a long process of learning, testing, delays, experimenting, learning again, permits and unexpected obstacles.
But through it all was a strong desire to persevere because of the joy we felt knowing we were working to build something we knew God had opened the door for in our community, and because of the vision we had for all that it could be.
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES
Founding this company seemed like the perfect way to combine our passion for coffee with our passion to see the gospel spread to all nations—starting in Mount Vernon and now reaching to the Mansfield area with the opening of 4th Street Coffee House in 2024.
FROM THEIR FARM TO YOUR CUP
All of our coffee is specialty grade coffee, meaning that all of the beans are carefully sorted for size and defects to ensure the highest quality of coffee.
We have a direct trade relationship with our Honduras source, Altuyria Farms, and have had the opportunity to visit their farms and see first-hand their passion and dedication to providing quality coffee as well as creating a stronger community around their farms.
A LONG-TERM MINDSET
Our mission is to bring joy to the world through the two things we are most passionate about—the spread of the gospel of Christ, and high quality coffee.
Our goal is to work directly with missionaries and coffee farmers in various parts of the world and be able to have a positive impact on these communities, while also having a positive impact on our local community.
As a way of giving back, a percentage of all profits made from coffee sales are donated back to the communities we purchase our coffee from or to other needs and ministries in our local community.
